Special Interest Groups
In addition to the regular monthly meetings, special interest groups or smaller section gatherings of the Tacoma Branch meet monthly. Non-members may attend these smaller group meetings occasionally, but we encourage membership for those who would like to attend these groups on a regular basis.
Artistic Images:
When - meets on 1st Friday morning each month, Sept. thru May
Objective - creative stitchery, quilting, knitting & handwork

Daytime Books:
When - meets on 4th Wed. morning each month, Sept. thru May
Objective - daytime book discussion group

Diggers & Delvers:
When – meets on various meeting days during the daytime
Objective - gardening with a passion often touring gardens
Naturally, they take Field Trips to Gardens
Hot Topics:
When - meets on 2nd Wednesday each month, 10 AM until noon
Objective - to study assorted issues currently in the news; members select their own readings on the month’s topic and come prepared to
participate in a lively, facilitated discussion. We welcome diverse points of view.
